These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Coursati website at coursati.io and the Coursati mobile application (the "Service") operated by Coursati ("us", "we", or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Service

Coursati helps students search supported university terms and class sections, build schedules, track selected class sections, and receive notifications when seats appear to be open or when tracked class status changes.

Coursati is not a university, registrar, admissions office, or official registration system. You are responsible for confirming all registration, seat, deadline, course, tuition, academic, and policy information directly with your university.

Student app access

Student login, class selection, checkout, schedules, and notifications are available through the Coursati mobile app. The public website is view only and may be used to provide app information, legal policies, and download links.

Accounts

When you create or use an account, you agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current. You may be required to verify your phone number by one-time password. Your phone number is tied to your login account and may not be editable from the profile screen.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of unauthorized use of your account.

Purchases and in-app purchases

Coursati may offer paid class tracking through in-app purchase. Prices, currencies, taxes, and available payment options are shown before you confirm a purchase. Your first tracked class may be provided free once per account as a first-time gift or free trial-class. This free trial-class has no cash value and is not transferable.

Paid tracking is activated only after the purchase is confirmed or accepted by the Service. We may refuse or cancel a purchase if fraud, unauthorized activity, technical error, pricing error, or misuse is suspected.

Tap payment support may exist in our backend for future use, but student checkout currently uses in-app purchase unless Coursati enables another payment method later.

Class data, availability, errors, and inaccuracies

University terms, courses, class sections, seats, times, rooms, instructors, and registration windows can change without notice. Coursati may rely on university websites, registrar systems, imported catalog data, and administrative updates. We do not guarantee that class data is complete, current, accurate, or available at all times.

Notifications are planning alerts only. A notification that a class appears open does not guarantee that a seat will remain available, that you are eligible to register, or that registration will succeed.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Coursati may send in-app notifications, push notifications, and local schedule reminders related to tracked class openings, class closures, registration windows, tracking status, and schedule reminders. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings and available app settings.

Promotions and discount codes

Coursati may offer promotions or discount codes. Promotions may have separate rules, start dates, end dates, usage limits, eligibility limits, or other conditions. If promotion rules conflict with these Terms, the promotion rules will apply for that promotion.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the Service, scrape or overload the Service, submit false information, or use the Service for unlawful or harmful activity.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, text, graphics, logos, features, and functionality, is owned by Coursati or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use Coursati branding without prior written permission.

Links to other websites

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Coursati. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates risk for Coursati, other users, universities, or third parties.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coursati and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, including missed registrations, unavailable seats, notification delays, data inaccuracies, academic outcomes, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at any particular time or location.

Governing law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of Kuwait, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you agree to the revised Terms.
